Just so-so

I wore out a pair of YakTraxPro and thought I would give these a try based on positive reviews. I could not keep these things on my boots until I removed the straps from my old YakTrax and rigged them on these. They still sometimes slip off. They grip ice more than the YakTrax, but the grab tends to be hard on my knees. It's also the reason they stretch and come off the boots with nothing to hold them on. The traction provided by YakTraxPro was more than adequate to keep me from falling. Bottom line, I prefer the YakTraxPro and will be buying another pair when I get tired of putting these things back on my boots.

This item is a very good value. I purchased them for my father and he is very happy with them. He does however have some problems getting them on and off, so he has to put them on his shoes before he puts the shoes on, same with taking them off. We both agreed that was better then having them be too loose and not staying put on his shoes. I did have to exchange them for a larger size; the sizes do run small. Shoebuy was great at exchanging them; very quick. Koodos to Shoebuy.

I felt like I was walking on stilts wearing these because the spikes are located in the center of the shoe. If you are looking for a comparable product, take a look at the Stabilicers Sport model which is what I ended up buying, they are in my opinion a better choice than the Stabilicers Lites, because you can walk normally in the Sport model.
Worth the money

My husband bought these and would highly recommend them. We also bought them for my son and daughter. They really give you traction on ice covered surfaces.
They really work!

I bought these for my husband for Christmas. I ended up giving them to him the week before when we had a snow/ice storm. He wore them on top of his work boots when he went out to clear the driveway and he was very happy with their ability to stop him from slipping.
