Will survive being swallowed by an Ariens 11528

Much much better than YakTrax. The materials are very high quality. The yaktrax break and deform very easily if you do anything other than very easy walks. I use this while snowblowing and they are tough and durable.

No More Falls!!!

I live in Flagstaff, AZ, which gets a lot of snow and ice. After hearing about many people falling and breaking bones this year, I researched products and decided to buy my husband, myself and my 85 year old mom the 32 North Stabilicers. I had got them and set them aside for the next storm. I put them on a little too late though, as I fell on the ice at the grocery store! Anyway, I now use them everytime I go outside. They are GREAT! You can treck over icy parking lots, etc., with no fear of slipping. They GRIP the ice, unlike the "coil" type they are selling out there. They are a fantasic product! I have friends that are ordering them now, too. No one likes to fall and hurt themselves! They are a wonderful product at a fair price! Buy them for yourself and people you love!

I bought the 32 North Stabilicers Lite because I attend college at Paul Smith's College in the middle of the Adirondack mountains and sometimes walking to class is more than challenging. These stabilicers are even more fabulous than I thought they would be and I am recommending them to all my classmates.Thank you so much for a product that is definitely making my life much easier.
Stabilicers Lite - Good on ice but annoying on dry patches

The stabilicers are good for walking on pure icy areas, but when walking on dry areas, they're clumsy. Also, you have to secure them well, so they don't slip off. And they have to be broken in, since when you wear them for the first time, they're a bit slippery on dry areas. But over all they do the job for what I bought them for: to keep me from slipping on the ice.

Stabilicers review

These do a nice job of giving you grip on crusty snow and ice. I particularly like that there are spikes under your heel, as that is where my foot strikes first. They are easy enough to get on, even in the cold weather, and are easy to carry in a pack.I did have one them slide off twice on a recent 2 hour hike. Fortunately I could feel immediately when it happened, and didn't lose it.The sizing is a little on the small side for boots. I wear a 9.5 men's boot, which should fit in the medium, but I found it was way too tight a fit and had to go with the large.
