The straps are all adjustable, which was a great surprise! I was quite impressed with that. Excellent arch support and they are very comfortabe; they feel like a sneaker.

These are so comfortable, supportive, durable, and great in any weather. I love the arch support and wide width. I love the straps and can wear them with skirts and dresses. If I could only have one pair of shoes, these would be it.

These Chacos are the best shoes I've ever owned. In most brands I have to buy a larger shoe than I actually need just to get the width, but these (in wide width) are very wide. The adjustable straps make it possible to accommodate the height of my foot, too. The side straps hold the foot just below the base of the little toe, so they don't rub the little toe at all, which is perfect for someone with corns or calluses. These sandals are a little heavy, which isn't bothersome; it just makes the sturdy. Get the unaweep if you want ultra sturdy sandals, or the yampa if you want something just a bit lighter. Finally, these are probably best for average or wide width feet. They may be a bit too clunky on narrow feet. For those of us with wide feet, we won't find anything better sandal than these!
