Snow shoes are shoes designed to wear on snow, as they will keep your feet warm even in wet conditions. Snow shoes are made of heavy materials and are designed for people who are going to be spending a lot of time in snow, or other wet or muddy winter weather conditions. The sole of snow shoes should be made of waterproof material, such as rubber.

I have struggled and struggled with a variety of big, bulky winter boots that have LONG laces ( that get knotted and tangled ) and the boots are really tough to get on and off . To compound the problem, I wear a large shoe and the boots get really big and cumbersome to move in. The Bogs that I bought are THE BEST !!!! Really, really easy to slip on and off because the top is all rubber and stretches EASILY, even over heavy socks. I thought the downside might be that, because they didn't have a lining, my feet would get cold. Not so at ALL!! I live in Oswego, NY, and we have cold and lots of snow. I'm not one to fill out a survey like this - but these boots are really, really great.
