| | About Motorcycle Boots: |
|---|
| | | Motorcycle boots are boots that tend to have a shorter heel than other boots, in order to allow a motorcycle rider to keep control on the bike. Motorcycle boots are generally made from heavy leather and may include metal, plastic and/or composite materials to protect the rider's feet, ankles and legs in case of an accident while riding. Motorcycle boots may also include styles with design inspired by the motorcycling culture in aesthetics and not intended for the activity. |

Durango Boot RD510 11
Sturdy, Tough Boot
February 27, 2013
Reviewer: Chocominties from Hawaii
I had a pair of western-style slouch boots that were in desperate need of repair. I had to make a decision of whether I wanted to spend the cash to repair them or replace them all together, so I went looking to see if it was worthwhile to just replace them with a brand new boot.I don't own a car, so my shoes need to hold up to lots of walking around. I purchased these with that in mind, since they're boots designed for moving around and not just looking good.Normally I wear a 7.5, but I'd heard that these ran a little big. There was no 7.5 in stock, so I took my chances with the 7. I'm glad I did. The size is absolutely perfect. I have normal-narrow feet, so the width was excellent for me. I also have small calves, so the smaller circumference of the opening was really ideal for me. As far as walking, the shoes are very comfortable, but the shafts are so stiff that they rub against my shins in a slightly painful way. I'm hoping that over time this will stop happening, like it did with the pair I replaced. I assume this is because the leather is so stiff and firm and just needs to soften up.I'm not doing anything more hardcore than walking in these, so I'm not sure what all they can handle. They do hold up well to rain, which is nice here in the tropics. They are pretty stiff in the sole, so don't try to run too hard in these.

Timberland Earthkeepers Bethel Buckle Mid Lace Boot
Best boots ever

Reviewer: Cheekee from Oregon
I have been wearing the same size 11 (I'm an 8.5) lace up boots for years despite the fact that they started falling apart a year ago. These timberlands are the BEST replacement. They look amazing on and seem like they'll last for awhile (but I've only had them for a few weeks so we'll see). Go for the light brown, it's beautiful

Dingo Harness
Nice boot, feels a little big

Reviewer: Dale from Reno, NV
This is a great boot. It wears nicely, no rubbing on the feet, but it does feel a half size too big. I wear a 16 so I was suprised to find it larger rather than smaller (a nice suprise). They are very comfortable for extended wear and the soles have a nice tread so they are acceptable during winter months.

Ride Tecs Laced Biker Boot
Better than expected

Reviewer: Gina from Albuquerque, NM
I just bought a motorcycle and needed something with a heel (I have short legs and couldn't get the leverage I needed to stand the bike upright). These are perfect! Comfortable, well crafted and good support. And, they look good too.
Wears this shoe: When I ride and also for going out.

I really like these boots. I ordered them in my regular size and had to exchange them for a half-size larger; but then they fit fine.
Wears this shoe: I wear this shoe with jeans.
