I have been buying this line of shoe since the first pair came out 10 years ago or so. as soon as you put them on you are sold. I have owned several pairs of this style. I purchased this pair because it was a new color, I've owned nearly every color but the brick red pair from a few years back. I currently have 2 Cham4, 1 Cham3 and 2 Cham2 that i still wear. I no longer have any of the original Cham1. I typically buy three pair a year, and of those I typically use this site to buy them.
Wears this shoe: Everyday shoe, work in a causal environment.

I bought these boots for an upcoming trip to Israel. I knew I needed to have sturdy and comfortable boots. These Merrell's are honestly the comfiest shoes I have ever worn! The fit is incredible. The tread on the bottom is very sufficient and will be perfect for the rocky terrain I'll be traveling on. I cannot recommend these boots more. I range from a size 9 to 9 1/2 with most shoes and the 9 1/2 for these boots fits me perfectly. I've worn them in down pouring rain and my feet stayed perfectly dry. I love, love, love these boots!

Despite an earlier review claiming that these were not waterproof, I ordered them anyway and am happy I did. They are comfortable AND waterproof as well as stylish. Got what I perceive to be a good buy and am overall happy with the purchase.

These shoes are awesome if you want to strengthen your feet for trail running. I like to use them because I like making my body stronger in every way possible. Do be careful if you have never really run barefoot. You need to work up to regular running in these shoes if you are used to using tennis shoes. The intricate muscles of your foot are worked much more by this style of running, but if you want a challenge, or just like to strengthen your body every way possible, these are for you.

This shoe offers both style and good fit along with performance. The fit is snug, and the shoe provides good foot control in activities that demand it, such as abrupt changes in direction or sudden stops while walking briskly, climbing stairs or even running. The specially designed laces stay tied throughout the entire time of wear, without the slightest slippage, which means no tripping on untied laces -- ever! The lining and foot bed combine to offer both a good fit, comfort and shock absorption, while the soles provide excellent traction. This shoe should fit the bill for anyone needing a good athletic style shoe combined with superior performance in the field. As such, this shoe should appeal to off-duty or undercover law enforcement officers, as well as others. It is also excellent for the general public, too.
